Schooling area and Quarry.

The schooling area and quarry will be open all the time, with the rare exception of when the ground is either frozen or waterlogged.  The ground is very free-draining which allows the course to be open even after heavy rain.

This entirely new area has  40+ jumps, both permanent and portable including steps, a new water complex, a ditch and  drop fences as well as large variety of  other fences. We will be continually adding to this mixture of fences, so the chances are that there will be something new most times when you come. The large range of portables enables us to ensure that the take-off and landing areas do not become poached and rutted.

For the instructor, this area provides the opportunity to train over all the potential obstacle types encountered on a Hunter Trial or eventing course, without having to traipse the full length of the circuit and also put together combinations of fences to test the pupil.
